Best Dr. our family of 5 has ever had! (....and we've lived in 3 different provinces). Dr. Scantlebury takes the time to explain things, doesn't push using prescriptions like bandaids, respects you as a patient by understanding you know your own body and your own children best, has an amazing work ethic that is evident, and is very amicable all the while being professional. His secretary is compassionate, accommodating, and friendly. Just don't see people in the health care field with all of these characteristics rolled into one. We consider ourselves wholly blessed!

Great blog Pam. My career in baknnig took me off island for over 40 years. Now that we're retired we decided to sell the house here and move back this summer, although we may wait one more year for the shipbuilding boom to start affecting real estate values. Grandson's not old enough to play golf yet so can tolerate one mor year of waiting. When I get asked why I'd move there when all my friends are here I just say I've got more there, better fishing and cheaper and better golf courses.Next time we're in Summerside I'll drop into Indigo and say hello.Sandy

Dr. Scantlebury is great! I am a mother of 3 young children and never have trouble seeing him when my children are sick. He is great with my kids as well. Love being able to call his office and talk to Debbie and not a recording all the time. Debbie is also very friendly and accommodating.
